Not to mention, you can always opt for a short-sleeved button down, if it is seasonally appropriate.

Button downs are also an extremely masculine choice, perfect for a date or a night out on the town. Don’t want to come across as too dressy? Untuck your shirt and unbutton the top button. You can even roll up the sleeves if you don’t want to look as though you are on your way to a business meeting.

When It Comes To Pants…

If you are going into the office, we have one very important piece of advice: do not wear shorts. It would be our suggestion that you wear a nice pair of black, brown, or grey slacks. If your office isn’t so formal, you may want to try a pair of chinos or dark jeans. Make sure that your pants, whatever they are, do not have holes, fancy stitching or designs. The key to men’s fashion(yes, even pants) is to be understated in all that you wear.

When It Comes To Jackets…

If you want a look that is more laidback, we would suggest you skip wearing a blazer and perhaps opt for a cardigan or a fitted jacket instead. On the other hand, blazers are a great way to dress up any outfit as a man.

If it is cooler outside, you might want to consider wearing a heavier coat like a leather jacket or a pea coat for especially cold days.

When It Comes To Shoes…

Business casual has a staple shoe and that shoe is, of course, the dress shoe. A black polished shoe will not only look great with a slightly dressy outfit, but you can also wear them with more formal ensembles as well.
